SWEET BAHARAT, APPLE AND WALNUT MUFFINS
SWEET BAHARAT - EXTRA RECIPES
200g sliced Apple
220g Plain Flour
2 tsp Baking powder
125g Brown sugar
2 tsp Red Hill Spice Girls Sweet Baharat
3/4 cup of Milk
1 Lrg Free Range Egg
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
Topping
1 cup chopped Walnuts
½ cup Brown Sugar
3 tsp Sweet Baharat
Pre-heat oven to 180 0C. Line the bottom of 12 muffin tins with baking paper and grease.
Sift flour, baking powder and Sweet Baharat. Add sugar and mix well. In a separate bowl mix egg, oil and milk together. Add to dry ingredients. Mix in chopped Apple. Spoon batter into muffin tins. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over each muffin.
Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
OTHER SWEET BAHARAT IDEAS...
Add to your favourite Banana Smoothie.
Mix 2 tblsp with 1kg Muesli.
Mix with sugar for cinnamon toast.
Sprinkle over porridge with Brown sugar.
Use in stewed Fruit.
